After 24 years, Scott Mills has left BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 5 Live to join the daytime schedule on BBC Radio 2. He previously hosted The Scott Mills Show  live every Monday-Thursday 1pm-4pm as well as hosting the Official Chart every Friday. He also hosted Saturday mornings on BBC Radio 5 Live with Chris Stark.

Scott will be joining the BBC Radio 2 daytime schedule from 2pm - 4pm, taking over from Steve Wright. In 2021 Scott launched his brand new podcast Pupdates with dog trainer Steve Mann.

Scott has been a regular host on BBC Radio 2 and has also fronted the hugely successful Official Strictly podcast and Eurovision Calling for BBC Sounds. Scott also hosts the Eurovision semi-finals for BBC4. He most recently commentated on BBC One for HRH Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.

In 2014 Scott appeared as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, the UK's biggest TV show. Over six weeks, Scott did the foxtrot, the tango, danced the samba, and dressed as a crab...

Scott was an official ambassador for Team GB, showing his support for British athletes during the 2016 Rio Olympics. He is also a patron for the MS Society, Neuroblastoma UK and had trekked across Kenya's Kaizut desert for Comic Relief.
